Elgin School District
The Elgin Public Schools have an enrollment of 450 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. They are served by 51 skilled and dedicated staff members. An effective Site Council works cooperatively with the Board of Education and the school administration to ensure a broad review and support of the school programs.
The school has a wide range of educational activities which include:

•Exceptional business, FBLA, VO-AG, FFA, CAD, Industrial Arts and Music programs.
Students attending our school represent diverse social and economic settings. A high number of these students graduate from high school and enroll in higher education institutions.

With the new health care mandate, Elgin residents still can sign up and have access to their choice of health care providers; including dental care through healthcare.gov.
